Mark D. WilliamsMark D. Williams lives in Minden, NV with his wife, Junel, and daughter, Roslyn.

Williams has an MA in Vocal Performance from the University of Iowa and a DMA in Vocal Performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Currently he is the Music Department Chair at Lake Tahoe Community College.

His resumé includes professional performances from across the country and internationally in a wide variety of leading and character roles in musical theatre and opera. Dr. Williams is also active as a musical and stage director.

Some of his favorite roles include: The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera, Javert in Les Misérables, Jekyll/Hyde in Jekyll and Hyde, Jesus and Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, King Arthur in Camelot, Henrik in A Little Night Music, Tony in West Side Story, and Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods.

Williams is also the composer of three original musicals, BeautyGuilty Pleasures, and Lysistrata’s War.
